Ruben Sanchez Tap Shoes
Hi NAPM's. My dd has been hankering after a pair of Ruben Sanchez tap shoes for whike now, and has saved up enough money to buy a pair. Does anyone know where we can get them? I know there is an online shop where you can pick your fabrics and colours etc but she really wanted to go somewhere to be m...

Re: Where are our Sept 2018 starters going?
DS is off to Guildford School of Acting to study Musical Theatre. So pleased for him! It has been a long stressful year, but we've got there. it was hard to gamble on A level results and choose GSA over Laine and Urdang. DD got in to The Hammond!!! We are very happy lots of tears! Well done to your...

Re: Braces
My daughter had an invisible brace on her bottom teeth. It looked like a retainer and hardly noticed. She could also remove it whenever she wanted. However when she finished the treatment her teeth were straight but still different heights. The dentist offered to file them down but I really didn't l...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Gosh, 11 college auditions is a lot!! If your DD is happy to go to any of the colleges if accepted then go for it. I'd also recommend going to the CDET conference and on to the showcase in the evening. We went last year and it really helped my DD choose the places she wanted to audition at - all be...

Re: Accommodation performers college...getting desperate!
Hi Gillp, Have you tried looking at South Benfleet? It's around 7 miles away from Performers College and takes a while by public transport but if they have a car its really quick. It takes my DD 15 minutes to drive in the morning and 30 coming home due to traffic. It might open your options a bit mo...

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
Wow! What a fabulous day for your DS! I don't mean to pry but would finances come into your decision making? They are both amazing college's so if it were my DD in that enviable position then I think I would look at finances. If your ds is entitled to a full dada with accommodation at Laine compared...

Performers college are offering the degree course from September. Like Bird the student loan covers the fees so no top up needed xx

Well done to your dd Laurellen. She must be over the moon. XxxLaurellen wrote:So after the odd letter my DD got a phone call. From Bird this time.
She has been offered a DaDa!! I’m in shock. I was sorting out accommodation for her to do the 2 year AVT at Urdang!

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
Oh my! I think that some college's are behaving quite badly. If they have finished their auditions then surely there is no reason why they cannot decide to offer, decline or wait list. I don't understand it. How can Laine still be considering someone when the recalls were weeks ago? And as for GSA t...

Re: Times article - MT degree fees challenge
Thanks. I realise we have been in a better position than some people in that we have paid for a foundation this year but that just makes it less easy to take on big top ups or living expenses. I am just sad for DD - she is a real worker - worked hard for a triple distinction star in MT, worked in a...

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
Hi, I'm very new to all this, I feel a little on my own, my dd is the only one from the dance school auditioning this year and I have no clue what I'm doing, just riding a very stressful train!! Your post caught my eye, as my dd has been offered the reserve list for the degree course at Bird, and I...

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018
Hi Marissa. My dd auditioned for colleges last year and was offered a DaDA at Performers but was really hankering for the degree at Bird. Someone said to her that very few people will end up at their dream college as money is usually a factor. It's up to the student to take everything they can from ...
