Drama School Drop outs???

Thank all the peps on this site who have given me and my ds excellent advice and encouragement over the years. A new dilemma: My ds may be offered a huge part in a West End production, but it would mean giving up his place at drama school. (He is finishing his first year) He fought tooth and nail fo...

New Drama School!

My ds got an offer today from Rose Bruford after a devastating set of auditions, as I know many of you will have experienced. Rada must have sent off his rejection letter before he left the building! He changed his speech for Rose Bruford which made a huge difference, he feels. Any little niggle and...

Is My Agent Behaving Badly???

I thought I would pass this one by all you experienced people. In the summer, a famous agency agreed to represent my ds which he was extremely pleased about. When I asked them about a contract, he is not quite 18, they replied that they don't sign anything until their client gets a part. So, he was ...

Re: What to do next? Finding an agent?

The best way to get an agent is to invite them to see you perform in a production. Send off your headshot, c.v. and tickets and away you go. Don't expect many responses but keep them up to date by dropping them a line when you get another part or performance. My ds got a top agent that way who met h...

My Best Headshot

He normally charges £150 for a two hour session but he gave us a significant discount as he is a Spotlight member. We are definitely going back for some real...
