I applied to this quite a few weeks ago, Never heard back???? DD is now going to LCB that day but wondering if they have had a problem with getting peoples completed forms if the workshops aren't full?????

Rather than a hair net have you tried a wig cap.. They are much stronger than a hair net.. My daughter used one for a show once, it worked well as once on they really contain the hair so to speak,,

Last week my chaperone fee was £85 for half a day... Usually at least £80 -£90 a day, but that includes travel expenses.
My experiences are all TV / Film/ voiceover work..... The theatre rates seem very low.. ( but aren't they always)

Wasnt hard to find you on Twitter & to see the Cds comment!! ( took about 30 seconds!!)Looks like he does randomly #FF people he doesnt necessarily know but maybe likes their writing style,etc,Having Read it Id be Flattered if I were you.

Years ago my DC attended a Tree Petts & Lou workshop. theywere told that an audition applied to Theatre, TV & Film roles where an actual performance albeit acting or singing or dancing was required at audition stage, & that the term casting was applied to TVCs, Photographic,Promo , Music...

Just to say the little girl who got annabelle whose very experienced , hasnt got red hair its a dark blonde/ light brown, She is a friend of my DD. Agree with you though ,CDs do prefer experienced kids, I guess that way they dont have to take a risk ..

Hard to advise without knowing age of your DS, & which agent hes currently with, & also your location.. If you have an idea which agencies to try for then id say go for it .. if not if you want Pm me i can give you some names of good agencies to try..

Most good agencies are sole agencies, which would rule out having a North & southern agent..I can only think of one agent who does allow this, & they are large & have a lot of internal competition, & mainly do commercail work How old is your Ds?? Maybe its his age/....???If hes under...

Does the agent HAVE to be Manchester Based... Most castings & auditions will be in London, have you tried Southern agents???

Cant comment on the legitamacy of this agency at all, & agree that changing T&C because you have had plenty of work seems very wrong.. however just wanted to say that 10% is the lowest commission rate ive ever heard of, for anything outside of theatre work!!.. Most photographic agents charge...

Not my DCs agent as we already had one, but a Fab agency, run by a lovely friendly lady.. Only ever heard good things!!Good luck to all those applying.
