Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry

My daughter has just been accepted for Ruthie Henshall's CAST school. She had other offers but wanted to go for this very unique training. It might be worth it for anyone still looking for a place as they are still accepting applications but with a tiny cohort of 25 I imagine there are very few pla...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry

I think you provide an email address of the referee, they then get told how to submit their reference, and then when it's submitted you can complete and submit the full application. So it is worth contacting the referee separately and asking them to do it as quickly as they can so as not to miss any...

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry

It is different for each college, you're best to ask the individual colleges, from memory Artsed automatically considers students who have applied for their degree for the foundation. GSA accepts seperate applications for their foundation but will also offer some people a foundation audition at the ...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

DD has two weeks (by 16th June) to accept her offer BA MT at IC and then a deposit payment will be due to secure the place….hanging on til the very end in the very slim chance of word from Arts Ed…if there are boys still undecided on their places there I don’t think that will help her as I am sure ...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Well done lawn's dd! Although it was for MT, my dd loved the vibe of Conti, very relaxed in the interview but the dance call was intense which is what she wanted. All the students were very welcoming and she felt a great atmosphere throughout her recall. The centre in Woking is obviously brand new,...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Hi all, My dd has been offered a place on the GSA foundation. We thought she might be eligible for a bursary as their eligibility criteria were not listed on the website, but now we have a form, we've found she's not. I'm a single parent and just don't have the money! I think some have managed to g...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

My daughter has just managed to get Housing Benefit via Universal Credit for a non accredited postgraduate course but it’s not easy. To be eligible you have to fulfil the Claimant Commitment. This means either committing to seeking work for 35 hours per week and taking a job if offered (not possibl...

Re: Auditioning for 2022 entry

Yes my DD did her foundation year in halls, and is also in halls for her first year of the degree :D Thank you that's really good to know- she has a recall and trying to work out if it's affordable- the cheapest halls are cheaper than a shared house! Fab, good luck to your DD!! If she is successful...
