Good Shakespeare drama school monologues
Hi, 'I am looking to attend Mountview's 1 year foundation course in September and was wondering what are good Shakespeare Monologues to do for an 18yr old? Preferably an emotional piece, maybe one of Shakespeare's mad characters on a tragedy play.

Re: Should Actors Work For No Pay?
I think they are completely out of order. I recieved an email from them, telling me where the location is and also I would need to be there from 09:30 - 21:00 on Saturday and Sunday which I believe is simply criminal. Definitely will not be doing any extra work for Legacy.

Should Actors Work For No Pay?
Hi, I apllied for The Legacy Movie open auditions a few months ago. many people including me didn't get a response and I suspect the casting call was more for publicity as the actors hired have already been in TV or movies already. Anyway, they were offering people the chance to work as an extra for...

Re: Mind-boggiling Conundrum
Thanks for all the replies, I guess its pretty obvious what I should do. I need to think of my future and not the present and the Internship will turn out to be more useful in the Long run.

What Do You Do After A Terrible Audition?
Yesterday I had the worst audition of my life. It was an audition for a Feature Film and I genuinely think I gave the worst audition out of everybody they seen for the role. I forgot lines, mumbled words, it was just terrible acting but as usual The Casting Director said I done well. I know I've nev...

Audition Monologue suggestions
Hi, I'm 17 and have an audition for a film, however it takes place in the "street side" of America and I have to do it with an American accent. I need a monologue for the audition, hopefully something referring to the rough side of life, preferably from an American Play or Film so I could ...
