Hi! I've applied, but I was wondering when in the summer will you be filming the Africa series?
Loved the show so far, can't was for the next series even if I'm not in it!

Yes, I was wondering that. It doesn't say much about them and how they work on the website, although I do love the design!

Re: tap shoes
Hi, its worth asking mums at your DDs' dancing school to see if they have any their DCs have finished with - that's the way I get my DDs shoes all the time. I agree. Whilst your DD May not approve of getting old ones, it is the cheapest way and usually the shoes are in very good condition with a li...

Re: Voicereel, voiceover and video clips
Not sure which ones are any good in London but there are tips all over NAPM and you can easily find them on the web. You sure can get a professional video for YouTube, just look at Rebecca black!! (don't, the song stays in your head for ages) Anyway, she made a music video for YouTube without ...

Ok I think that we'll go for a classmate as it seems that they are really good roles too! Do you go for specifically one or any?

Re: auditions for Matilda
I think it is rarely a good idea to ignore very clear casting briefs - it just tends to irritate the casting team. I watched a bit of a documentary once where the CD goes round with a stick with the correct maximum height on it. Anyone over that height just didn't get to audition. i could cite an o...

Re: auditions for Matilda
Thanks, what if you have an extremely petite frame? Do you think you could pass it off?pinky3 wrote:Ahh unfortunately the Matildas are getting shorter and shorter and they seem to want them nearer 4'1" from my experience. The classmates parts are amazing though so I would still go for it!!

auditions for Matilda
Hi NAPM! Does any one know when the next auditioning for Matilda will be? Also, it sais that Matildas should be under 4,4ft (?) But do you think that it would be okay if you're slightly over? :? I know there are schoolmates, but I would like to try for Matilda while I still can. Please also VOTE abo...

Re: A&J management
We are with them and think they're great. Fees only for website update which is annual and for spotlight. We have had plenty of opportunities with them, and some positive results. Very friendly and always give as much information ahead of time as they can. I wish they would put on some workshops li...

A&J management
Hi NAPM
Does anyone have experience with or know about a&j management?
What are there basic rates( what percentage do they take?) Do they charge for extra things? Are they good/friendly?
Any useful info would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Re: Lancastrian Accent!
gosh! Its a long time since I've tried a Lancastrian accent. What's it for because that will show how precise you need to be! I.e if it's for Londoners you can trick us easily ( no offence, I'm from London too) OR if it's Lancaster and the surrounding area you really have to try hard to get it right...

Re: Top Talent Agency
I'm not sure that's necessarily true, Triple threat - unless I have misunderstood what you are saying. I agree that unscrupulous agents can make money by charging for lots of "extras" but I don't think that an agent will necessarily be more successful as an agent with hundreds of clients ...
