Through Student Finance England ( SFE ) your DD will be able to get a maintenance loan up to I think £12,000 for London depending on the household income. You /she can look it up online and see what she is entitled to on the Go...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry

If any of your DC's are feeling a bit isolated from the MT world, there is a Facebook group called The Musical Appreciation Society which might prove useful for them.
They are trying their best to keep performers spirits up!

My dd just got a yes from Italia Conti. She’s delighted as it’s one of her dream colleges and she was so disappointed at not being able to go to Bird and Arts Ed this week
Some good news for today x

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry

After 8 auditions my son accepted his only BA MT offer from Conti yesterday. The choice was made for him, as he received reserve offers from PPA, Bird and Leeds, Foundation from Performers, and no from GSA, Emil Dale and Urdang. Exciting times ahead, but the big challenge now is to find affordable ...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry

Has anyone asked for feedback from Laine? At some stage along the process of applying and auditioning I am sure we were told that you can. Yes last year we called and spoke with Sarah Carroll who gave us very informative and constructive feedback which so far has not been replicated by any other co...

Also was the most impersonal update i have ever read. Grrrrrr
It does seem rude ,UCAS are very blunt with good or bad news.

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry

I know we were lucky getting offers early. Anyone waiting has my sympathy.
Maybe the volume of auditionees has increased as foundations audition as late as possible so it's just taking longer as the season progresses. Also maybe half term breaks cause a delay if admin are off?
