Re: Rates of Pay for TV

Sounds about right for what is essentially extra work. BBC pays about the same for a major soap my kids have been in. Provide own clothes and food. They provide the chaperone.

Re: Accommodation performers college...getting desperate!

Are you only looking at student accommodation or short term rents? My sister ended up taking a 10 month contract on a house with her friends whilst at dance college. She still had to pay during the holidays of course but they had an option to renew it each year and pay a small retainer for July / Au...

Re: Anyone know of Nativity Tour 2018 auditions?

Two lots of auditions. The first was for the main kids. Must be Midlands based and was with Roberts Casting. Closing date for submissions was 27th April.

The Keston & Keston auditions are for the posh school kids - smaller roles but good fun.

Re: Good MT holiday courses?

The Jo Hawes four day courses are excellent- with Carrie Grant teaching singing and Mark Hedges doing the choreography.

Includes lots of other activities too. My daughter had a blast and learnt so much.

Also be aware that unless he is a UK or EU citizen then he is not eligible to work in the UK so any professional opportunities that came up he would be ineligible for. Not sure if he could get a work visa, you'd need a specialist to answer that one. I believe there are also issues with licencing for...

Not West End but I joined a gym and went every evening she was on stage. I got super fit!! I joined a Nuffield Health gym which has one month rolling contracts so no long term commitments.

Re: Troy: Fall of a City

Does anyone know whether they specified a particular look for these roles? Just being nosy really as my agent would have submitted them if my child fitted the bill but obviously don't want to ask them!!!!

Tring Park Associates.

These are the after school and weekend classes run by Tring Park. Audition required for children aged 7 or over (I think). All info is on their website.

Re: Quirky Kidz

Nothing but praise for Quirky Kidz. Some amazing auditions have come my daughter's way. Plus they charge NO commission on jobs less than £1,000. I only have positive words to say.
