Re: Brit School

Mumoffive -sorry just seen this congratulations to your ds \:D/ it’s a great place to study and hone their skills, lots of benefits attending this school! He will definitely enjoy it. With the theatre strand the plays at times had a very mature nature to them just so you’re aware, just took me aback...

Re: Looking ahead and being realistic!

Hi Rhymie! Absolutely brilliant! Well done to your son for achieving a place at BOV =D> =D> It’s so hard! That was the last one on the list for my son & he didn’t even audition in the end as we had run out of money by then! But tbh don’t think he would’ve even been successful as it’s so hard! Yo...

Re: Brit School

My son attended the Brit sch in year 10 and continued through to y12. Apparently the audition process has changed since, he graduated from there 3yrs ago all I would say is just for your son to be himself really there’s no real tips. My son did the theatre strand as he wanted to act, it does have so...

Re: Looking ahead and being realistic!

If she is strong all round and is a true triple threat with string acting then dont forget to include Rose Buford and Mountview and Central in her list of potential schools. These are among the strongest in the country. Unfortunately she wouldn’t get any f/t musical theatre training at Rose Bruford...

Re: Straight Acting 2018 - how to choose and manage finances?

Hi! I agree with the replies here. My ds quite similarly completed btec lev 3 ext at the Brit sch, then auditioned for all the drama sch’s (acting) when he was 18. Royal welsh was by far his favourite but he only reached reserve list, they only keep 5 people on reserve & unfortunately he wasn’t ...
