The email suggested that recalls on the day are the next stage of the process, but on the phone I was told very much that some people who are accepted (BTEC 6th form) won’t have been recalled.
Any experience either way?

Re: changing track at 17 (Y13/repeating Y12) options? Cambs area
Thanks all - had been looking at Arts 1 from granny’s, hadn’t considered straight from home! Private lesson top up is the suggestion of the institution in addition to the BTEC training. Both Bodyworks (great support, good rep, less ucas points) and Stageworks st Neots (Live with gran, cheaper course...

Re: Stageworks and Bodyworks post-16 opinion wanted
Agreed, the St Neots is a diploma (2A Levels and she’s will have either one or two btec certificates from the aborted y12 course she is on. Bodyworks is more money for less time and fewer qualifications.
Thanks for the input

Stageworks and Bodyworks post-16 opinion wanted
Thank you to all who commented on my first post. The two options we are most considering are Stageworks and Bodyworks, for both L3 Btec + Foundation training, and L6 training. Any experience of them would be much valued. Thank you.

Re: changing track at 17 (Y13/repeating Y12) options? Cambs area
EDut: where I said stagecoach Cambridge I meant bodyworks :) any views on them? Milton Keynes is on a bus route from my parents’ house, hitching isn’t so Emil Dale isn’t reachable. Even Milton Keynes would be a 60 min then a 20 min bus so I have reservations about the likelihood of that being workab...

Re: changing track at 17 (Y13/repeating Y12) options? Cambs area
I’d love her to continue with A levels but it’s not what she wants and is affecting her health. Living away from family wouldn’t be an option at the moment in terms of her mental health, so if anyone has opinions on the institutions mentioned I’d really welcome them - clearly they’re not Trinity/GSA...

changing track at 17 (Y13/repeating Y12) options? Cambs area
Hi, new poster here! My lower 6th daughter (17 shortly) started at her local 6th form this year doing French A, MT Btec, Music Btec. She's not getting on there and wants to focus on just MT. She'd be changing in sept 19 so still eligible for L3 funding as she wouldn't have completed any courses. An ...
