Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Thanks for all the helpful responses. Sadly DS has withdrawn from Bird after 4 weeks torturing himself because after his GCSE results he realised that however much he wants to do MT he just wasn't ready to leave home. He's only just told them so one lucky DC will get the call today!! Congratulation...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
I do 7nderstand why a college would follow the 'reserve list' route and if it helps fill the maximum number of places then that is great but I fear it is starting to become part of the problem that is holding up the whole allocation process as well as causing issues for accommodation. There appears ...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Does anyone think things may start to move/change when A-Level results come out this week?
Doesn't seem to be much happening but still sounds like some people are holding onto more than one offer!
Interested to know peoples views and previous experiences

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Hi Tiptaptoe, it is so frustrating isn’t it....has your DD had any other offers? X Very frustrating indeed :( she's had diploma offers for various places including Bird but we've had to turn them down because even with the small DaDA they offered it was still too much for us to afford unfortunately...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Apparently Tanya who deals with the list is on 2 weeks holiday so that may be why there has been no movement or follow up to checking the list x

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Congrats to those finally getting sorted, it's great news. For those that are accepting places, can I ask (just curious) do you have other offers that you will therefore decline and if so where (you dont have to say :D ) I guess I am just wondering whether these recent acceptances mean that other pl...

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
It all seems very quiet at the moment, anyone heard anything?
Sounds like there has been some movement on Diplomas at most the colleges but none with Degree offers so it's not stimulating any movement. Guess a lot of those going for places this year seem to need that student loan route.

Re: Auditioning for Sept 2019
Hi all, I'm new to this site and have been reading the comments with great interest. I'm also spent some time working out who DS and/or DD was 😂😂 I think I've concluded its dance daughter/dance son but I'm still not 💯🤷♂️😂. Anyway, I just wanted to share my DD's position and what I've heard so far. ...
