Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
Are Avery Hill definitely full? My dd went in to halls (albeit 4 years ago) and you couldn’t even apply for halls until August

Re: Auditioning for 2023 entry
Just wondering if anyone has insight or experience of the Bird waiting list for MT? DD's friend is on waiting list but is wondering whether this might convert to an offer? Many thanks. :D 2019 entry my daughter was on the BA waiting list, was asked if she wanted a place on the DaDA funded diploma w...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Thanks for the info. I’ve been looking into it more and think we need to just accept there’s no way she can go. She’s still very pleased and excited to be going to Urdang. My DD was offered a place there too but no funding, she was proud to have been offered but even more happy to be fully funded a...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hi, does anyone know anything about advanced learner loans? I understand they can be used for a diploma course. DD has heard from Laine (finally!) that she has been offered a place. We are looking at all possible funding options as it’s her dream place to train! She can’t get a Dada. I think you ca...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Sorry to post again about Wilkes £200 deposit. I thought I had read somewhere that is wasn’t compulsory? Has anyone had any experience of this? We paid, but now have decided to go elsewhere but Wilkes are saying it’s not refundable. Presumably they will charge the next person on the waiting list - ...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Has anyone heard off Bird yet? My DS has confirmed his place but not sure what the process is now? Do they contact you again or do we now just wait until results in august? He is planning on renting a student house but not sure if Bird do contact re halls or not? You’ll get details of how to regist...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
I know this has been gone into great detail in the past, but any gems about the Bird reserve list? My daughter is on it and would like to go (has offers elsewhere but would prefer Bird). I know they said end of June. How realistic is it that there will be any movement in the list? Is it worth holdi...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Student finance...I presume the deadline of Friday for student finance is a soft deadline?🤞🏻🤞🏻Can’t apply until decisions have been made but gov website says 21st May to ensure it gets done in time. You can still apply, just put one of the places you’ve had an offer from and change it later if you ...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hi all New to this site, all a bit of a minefield. My DS has had offers for 3 Year Degree - Bird College Momentum Performers 1 year foundation at Urdang. He has decided to go with Bird College. Would be great to hear from other parents on here. I am FLUMMOXED by accom options. I would be hugely gra...

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
I’m not sure if anyone knows this already, but being in receipt of DaDA funding automatically reduces the fees, even if you don’t qualify for full funding. For example, diploma fees at Bird are £9250, same as a degree, but receiving any DaDA funding reduces that to just over £7k (approximately). Thi...

Thank you.

Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hi everyone. Congratulations on all the recent offers. My daughter is very happy to have a degree offer from bird and is probably going to accept it as it was one of her preferred choices. She is withdrawing from most of her other applications either because she prefers bird or for financial reason...
