Re: How many colleges should you visit the open day for?
I'd just like to say that if you are trying to choose a college, we found going to their end of year shows much more valuable than going to an open day. Re: Please tell me about NYMT and YMT..
My son has done 2 productions with YMT and I would highly recommend them. They are of an incredibly high standard. And he had a brilliant time. The main difference between NYMT and YMT is that NYMT produces known works and YMT produces original work. On the second project my son did, the young peopl...

Re: A LEVELS AND THEN DRAMA SCHOOL ?
I've just found this thread and it sounds oh so familiar! My dd wants to act too. We advised her not to do a Drama degree for reasons similar to those outlined above, but to either do a more "academic" degree or full time drama training. She decided to go the academic route and got a First...

Re: drama school audition songs
Ooh good luck to all those applying this year. We did it all with ds last year and dd applying to drama schools this year so know how you feel. With regard to songs, I think it is more important to have a song that really suits your voice and shows it off to its best advantage than one that is not s...

Who were the workshops with igloobabe? I thought he was brilliant. He's going to be the lead in Love Story when it opens in the West End.
