Re: FILM COURSE

Gosh, we have just been sent details of another course in association with Ann and Sally in October. It is obviously something new that they are embarking upon then and whilst it is a good idea it is going to make it very expensive :(

Re: which agency in midlands??

Hello and welcome to NAPM

Most agents insist on sole representation so you might not be able to register with them all. Maybe you will need to ask if they are sole rep or not.

Thanks for replying to my other post about Chilli Kids by the way. We are just in the process of deciding what to do.

Re: Would you give someone else's child a lift to an auditio

I would and have done. This once resulted in the other child getting the part and my dd not but then my view was that it was obviously not meant to be. It was however a very difficult journey home because they were told then and there so one was over the moon and the other was down in the dumps

Agency Representation

Hi Gang, I'm just wondering if anyone on the forum has a dd/ds who is represented by either Urban Talent or Chilli Kids or has any experience of them. Both agencies have now given my daughter firm offers of representation so any information would be gratefully received and of course please PM me if ...

Re: PLEASE HELP!!!!re castingwebsite

I agree with the others that if you have an agent already they may object to you joining another agency. Just to put our spin on this, my daughter attended an audition/workshop for Wuthering heights. She came away feeling that the set up wasn't very professional and said that it just didn't feel rig...

Re: Payment of fees

Thank you all so very much for your help and advise - and thank you too to a certain member who also pm'd me with her mobile phone number to ring - how incredibly kind was that ! All I can say is that it is a very well known agency and you will all have heard of them. I don't want to name and shame ...

Re: Should under 18s be paid for panto?

Both of mine have worked for Spillers - my daughter as a dancer for 3 years and was paid £50 for the run and then played Michael and was played £100 for the run (6 weeks in total plus rehearsal time) They were given lots of treats throughout and although it wasn't a lot of money the experience was i...

Re: Payment of fees

Can I just bump this up to ask for further imput. I am now sick of contacting our agent and being ignored. :( Worse still, my daughter has now found out that the children that she was with last year have all been paid for the work earlier this year. I am at my wits end trying to resolve this. We wil...

Re: Payment of fees

I have honestly tried. Email, 2 x recorded delivery letters and voice messages x 3 and I've hit a brick wall. I can also say that I don't feel that we are employing them. I know of someone who used to come on here with the same agent who had a similar problem and complained and then that child didn'...

Re: Payment of fees

Thank you so much everyone for your replies - I genuinely do appreciate it as I have such little experience in these things :) The first payment is a film that my dd did last May/June and is due for release next month. The other was last November and was aired on BBC4 about 4 weeks ago. mathsmum I d...

Payment of fees

Not sure if anyone can help or advise me on this one. My query is this; on average, how long do you wait for payment of fees. My dd is still waiting for payment for work undertaken last June/November 2009.
