isn't this rather unusual - after all, there is no guarantee anyone under 14 has any sort of photo id - photo yes, but id - have the company had some odd experiences?

we'll all be having to go out and get our dc's accredited id thingies if they don't have passports

i thought the poor school was more aimed at post-uni aged people, being evenings and weekends most of the time ie you can go there and have a day job?

do bear in mind that 14yo girls can get very little unless they are very lucky - it's sooo much easier to use an off-licence 16yo who looks younger

in the event we are moving to Somerset as we have found a school which is just right for dd and ds, I would say 50% of the people we tell think we're mad and the other 50% wish they could do it too. the only person who 'suffers' if you can't pay for it is the child who loses the work, that may have taken so much determination & hard work to get. if the work is paid, and you keep accounts, there's no reason you can't recoup the money from the child's earnings if it isn't and your own budget...

i would be surprised if they did cast a british biy - it has long been an american tradition if a film is set in a non-english, non-american location (whether a european country or a cartoon under the ocean!!) to cast americans as the goodies and brits as the baddies. but we'll see

does an 'open licence' mean a child can be in any production over the next 6 months - if so, where is the protection in that - surely individual licences mean that for each job, the local authority checks that production company/theatre? agree they should be quicker - ours is a week as long as your ...

has anything come out of this? on another board i'm on, you can pay by paypal, but also by cheque or credit card (for cheques, the woman running the board pm's you with her address) for paypal or cc, there's a donate button on the homepage - tho it is voluntary - but it is a smaller board than this,...
