Re: Marlowes Agency?

I registered my two daughters with them and have been very pleased with the 'family' feel they are trying to provide. No up front fees, only commission on work, and they don't inundate you with emails about totally unsuitable castings - they decide whether to submit your child and just tell you once...

Re: Marlows Agency - anyone any experience?

Hi We joined marlowes in February after trying several other agencies and finding their costs too high. They don't charge to be on their books, and their commission is pretty low. (10% for theatre work, 15% for film/TV) (Chilli kids take 20%) They will probably want to meet you in London, we went up...

Re: New Moon

Oh how funny - exactly the same happened in our cinema! My husband was about the only bloke in the whole auditorium, and yes, he read the books after me and enjoyed them.

Re: Nanny Mcphee

Yep, we enjoyed it too while away on York on a rainy day. The kids are brilliant in it. Wife/mum comes across as a bit dizzy, but it's great fun!

Re: Noughts and Crosses

A book. There are several in the series, my dd read the lot and couldn't put them down. I read the first one - laughed, cried and felt genuine fear! A real eye opener!

Re: Starnow(groan... sorry)

I like Starnow, although tbh we haven't had much work from it for my older dd who is the one with the singing talent, despite her being no 2 on the first page of under 13's ! However, my younger dd and I had great fun making 'How to grow Your own Drugs' last October, shown in March on BBC 2. Have en...

Re: Tring Theatre Arts Course

We looked round Tring when my dd was in Year 6. She loved it, and the standards were impressive, however by the time you get to V1th Form the numbers are very small which can mean just you and the teacher for some subjects - some might see that as a benefit but my dd needs more socialisation! I appl...
