Re: Star Now - Sub Rosa
My parents were hard workers who scrimped and struggled to make ends meet like other parents in the late 60's. Thru a friend of a friend I (as a 2 year old) was offered a main role in a feature film paying £6 per day (my Dad earned £7 a week at the time). So to my parents it was a fortune, filming f...

Re: KidsCCP
They go direct to the Casting Director or the Production Company who posted it. We have had a nice few jobs thru KCCP, not hugely well paid (as even if well paid jobs are posted on KCCP the agents get in there first (which is fair enough, that is their job/livelihood :D ) but our jobs have been bril...

Re: Casting Networks Knows Everything!
They registered your attendance on Casting Networks. It is a hoped for rival to Spotlight that some of the CDs are using. Once you are registered on it you just tap on the Ipad when you arrive and your name and password and then heigh ho the CDs/Directory have all the info in front of them rather th...

Re: Auditions for The Dumping Ground
Hi Bella
I dont think they are planning for any open Auditions for this at the moment. Castings have been going on for the last few weeks for main roles and I guess will be followed up by smaller roles as the series progresses. All through agents I'm afraid.

Re: Casting Workshops for young people
Me too, tho would it be better to tag you onto the end of the casting directors session PG (as an extra £) so you would have seen the kids in action that day and can then comment on first impressions like a director would see in a casting or off a casting tape?

Re: Casting Workshops for young people
Yes, under 13 in Yorkshire (or even more North!!) would be great :D what would the minimum age be ?? I also think the feedback idea to the parents is fantastic as Mum of 6 year old I dont exactly get a lot of that - "didnt really do anything, can we go to Macdonalds now, I'm hungry?" is th...
