Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018

Has anyone heard of or does anyone's child go to Brighton Academy? Whilst DC is aiming for one of the more popular schools he's also looking at others. It's just so difficult to tell whether the risk is worth it. I know of Brighton Academy as live just outside. They haven't been going long but char...

Re: foundation course housing benefit

Hi congratulations on the offer. You might need to check about her age, there are various rules - and not all HB offices know them all either so read up to start with. I think all the foundation students on this thread are 18 but someone might be able to comment on this if not. By the way we applie...

Re: foundation course housing benefit

Read this post with interest as my DD has been accepted on to the Pre Voc course at both Bird College & Performers College and she is only 15. I have always said I wouldn't let her do a Foundation course as A Levels will be better for her future plus we can't afford fees and living costs. But he...

We did our ballet poses in our house and sent off - got auditions through for all of the colleges applied for. Passport style were headshots that I printed in passport size.x

Re: Auditioning for SEPT 2018

Stagebox

Hi all. I did post this somewhere else but got no response. The London Elite team get together next week and week after and several of us had boarding accommodation sorted at 'Donna's House'. She will no longer be offering boarding accommodation and therefore I and other parents are trying to find h...

Re: Stagebox audition

DD a member of Elite team I know she is, so is mine! have you forgotten who I am  No - I know who you are lovely. I haven't been given option to pay by each week - I would rather that than monthly. Also I only know of one workshop/masterclass this year that was in February - maybe we are missi...

Re: Stagebox audition

I think so - has only been one in London that I know of. I think they are probably for the northern teams more often but if you can get to them you'd be allowed to go.

Re: Stagebox audition

I don't know if it's the same for the Development team but we can choose to either pay monthly for Elite or per workshop. My friend pays per workshop for her daughter but I have been paying monthly. Maybe worth asking x I think you will find that you have to pay monthly - DD a member of Elite team ...

Host Family Accomoodation

Hi all. I am looking for host family accommodation in London for my DD and a few others - they are all members of Stagebox and the training weeks are in August. We all had accommodation sorted but have been let down quite last minute. There was a thread last year about host families and I have email...

Re: Stagebox audition

I've been following this because I'm hoping my DD can audition next year. I'm now a bit worried about cost. I thought it used to be that you just paid for the weeks they attended? Is it now a monthly fee regardless of how many of the weeks they can actually go to? I know we won't be able to commit ...
