Re: Tutor/School issue
I am not sure about the tutor thing, but in the past I have asked them to give me the work that they would be doing and I have done it with my DS and handed it in upon return. We found this worked really well, but I guess that would not help with the absence issue.

Re: Daisy And Dukes
Hiya, We were with them for a short while and to be honest I can't complain we got a few castings, however it was just too stressful as you get short notice for auditions and like you we do not live close to London and when we couldn't make one (DS had violin exam) we got quite a ticking off. So we ...

Thank you Whitepudding, I get that, sometimes when something works really well for you and change happens, it is not such a happy fit.

Re: Matilda Tour
Although this is not a Jo Hawes audition, Jo did make it very clear that if she says 4'10 she means 4'10 not 4'10 and a half, she said she basically will go down a line with a measuring tape and not see anyone who is too tall even if they are practically perfect in every other way - it is to do with...

Re: Fidgeting!
Hiya, I have a 9y old DS who suffers from this and yes we went on a Jo Hawes course, which was amazing, but at the end they really do stress that fidgeting, easily distracted, not paying attention are deal breakers however good the talent - we are trying to work on some zen/mindfulness exercises. It...

Re: how long?
Having only had a couple of recalls I cannot say with any great certainty, but one was the next day and the other was six weeks later, so it really depends, I usually start to deflate and forget about it after a week, that way if they call it is a great surprise and if they don't well hey-ho!

Re: Imperium or Top Talent?
As long as there are no upfront payments I would go with the one that you feel most comfortable with and make sure you are not too tied in, in case you feel it is not right for you after all so you can then leave.

What do you mean by cheapest? Do you mean their percentages if they get your DC work?

Re: Starnow and Kidsccp
Out of the two I find Kidsccp best and I think it is £15 a month by direct debit, we have gotten a few jobs off it and also it comes up on search so we have also been contacted by people looking for actors. On Starnow we have a profile, but do not pay, I find all the jobs on there are pretty much un...
