Re: Chaperone work - Uk chaperone service

Hi Lynda
I wrote to Jo and she has put me on her list, I have also reminded the council, and asked a few drama schools and otehr chaperones who have worked with my child etc. Any other ideas?

Does anyone know of any agencies that find chaperone work? Cheers

Licensing

Can anyone guide me- sometimes on KCCP and StarNOw etc there are jobs offered where it doesn't seem that those offering the jobs realise about kids licensing. They either don't know or clearly haven't left enough time. What do you do? If the job is out of school hours/weekend do you do the job anyway?

Re: Chaperoning on a Commercial or a Film

Hi - welcome and good luck with everything. It all depends what you do. Some jobs just require an adult chaperone who would normally be the parent. You do not need to do anything to be a parent chaperone. Parents can usually be the chaperone for things like commercials and some filming. I believe th...

Re: Ology Agency

For most musical theatre in London you don't need an agent- you can apply direct yourself- See jo Hawes website

Re: School of rock musical

The 4 instrument parts are a long way down the line with recalls this weekend. I don't know how far they have got with the other parts. I believe there are 13 children per team and there are 3 teams.

Re: Communication with agent

Hi You all seem to have a very direct relationship with your agents. Even though we see ours every week ( he also teaches) mine is very touchy and I can't ask anything direct like this as they deem it that I am questioning their efficiency when I just want to know what is going on. My DS gets hardly...

Re: Railway Children Ensemble

Just to add re my earlier reply- we were a London family so we did lots of the taking to and fro to the theatre though we were lucky that the chaperone could help out a lot. All teh chidlren were London based that season and I suppose it was a bigger commitment because of the dropping to the theatre...

Re: Railway Children Ensemble

My DS was in it from May to September last year. He had a blast but it is a big commitment. 2-3 show days a week. Sometimes 2 shows on a day. Not many matinees and I think they reduced it further since then. Luckily for him a big stretch of his commitment was over May half term and summer hols so he...
