DS theatre group found out this week that they have been selected for the regional finals. So pleased after all the hard work that has been put in. They are going to Brighton. Any one else going?

Regards to the language, it has been toned down, but it there is still quite a bit of swearing( which my ds has to say quite a bit of, much to his pleasure :oops: ...

The audition is for 14+ and they have specifically asked for photo ID. Presumably to prove they are 14+!!!! What a pain. Thank you for your ideas x

My DS may have to attend an audition soon where photo ID is required. His passport has just run out and I don't really want to renew it yet as he won't be going abroad this year. Does anyone have any idea about what else is acceptable for these things? The best we can come up with is a Blue Peter ID...

I think the audition process was set in stone by the West End team. DS had a fab weekend auditioning, even the ballet which he had never attempted before. Unlike previous productions they didn't get the opportunity to specify the part they wanted.

DS theatre company were successful in getting the rights to perform this. What a fantastic opportunity it is. I have to say this is the best musical I have seen in the West End and ds is delighted to have the chance to be in it.
