Charlie andthe chocolate factory.

Hi. Was just wondering if someone could clarify something for me. We have booked tickets to see this musical on Saturday 8th June but i have just read an article in the Telegraph that says it is opening on the 25th June. Is this article wrong? Has it opened yet? :?

Re: Book of Mormon backing track

Thanks guys. I found a great karaoke track that he was able to use. He was going to use it for a competition but after taking a look at ALL of the lyrics he has gone with something safer! lol We still kept the track though as he loves the book of mormon and is constantly singing it

Re: The book of Mormon

Thanks welsh mum. Never heard of that but worth a try especially if you're going to get last minute tickets from booths. The prices for this are crazy. Averaging £150 each! Did find some on theatre direct for £49 each but I'm wondering what's wrong with them now to be 100 pound cheaper than anywhere...

The book of Mormon

Going up to London mid June and really want to see The book of Mormon. I have looked at booking tickets but the prices are unbelieveable. I'm struggling to get them at under 100 pounds each. Does anyone know if they sell them in the booths on Leicester Square and if so, what prices are they going fo...

Re: Musical Youth UK

Thanks both. The audition went well and we woke up to an e mail this morning saying he was through! Still finding out about them at the moment (as we only found out about the audition last minute) but have to say the people we met were lovely. They were very friendly and welcoming and put him at eas...

Musical Youth UK

Hi. Has anyone had any experience of Musical youth UK? My ds couldn't audition for NYMT this year as we had already booked a summer holiday during their dates but he could do this if he were accepted. Just wondered if it's worth sending off an application form or are they more like a stageschool? Th...

Re: Sore throat

I tried to get that stuff for my dd today as she has to do her first ever live solo set tonight at the XC studio Hemel Hempstead, and has gone down with a sore throat. No-one had it, but my dh said he's tried something called 'Diflam' which really worked for him, and so I got that instead. She's no...

Re: Sore throat

Sorry guys. I meant to post yesterday but ds has been so unwell. He got through it brilliantly  . I managed to get him to take honey and Sandersons which really brought his voice back (although his throat still hurt to talk or sing). You would never have known that he was struggling when he s...

Re: Sore throat

Really! I suppose it would. Never thought of that before! Throat is better this evening (far from right) but he hasn't spoken all day and has taken everything I have given him. They had so many rehearsals leading up to this show and did a 14 hr rehearsal before opening night. Many of the cast are st...

Re: Les Miserables

Stars was a big letdown. Like you I thought the children were fantastic. The scene with the medal (won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet) really got to me. Cried from the moment he gave val jean the candlesticks and was an emotional wreck by the end. Lol
