Thanks for posting hecouldshine. My ds would love to be involved with the NYMT. We were on hols last year when they were rehearsing 13 and he would love to do WSS - but he's only 14. The productions look interesting though - i'm trying not to even think about the cost

Hi. How do you find out about the auditions and also, if your child was successful, how do you manage if you don't come from the London area? Do the children stay there or would we have to put them up somewhere? Sorry for all the questions

It's the Royal Welsh college of music and drama in Cardiff. I dont know her vocal range but she can sing VERY high - does that help?? Sorry

My ds has been focussing on his theatre groups and loving it. At least he's gaining experience in these awkward, inbetween years!

I'm the same as you igloobabe. My ds 14 and looks older. Was even wondering wether it was worth putting him in spotlight this year as there is so little work for them-still continue with his stage school though what do people think?

Hecouldshine-i have just pm'd you and then read your post. Maybe i should have done it the other way around as i didnt realise how soon he was singing #-o My ds was also told to gargle with warm water or honey before the shows he did. Could the narrator help him out with close every door? or sing do...
