Re: Daisy And Dukes
I've heard good things about this agency. It's prob more whether there is much work for 14 year olds to pay spotlight, agency pics etc - my 14 year old too tall for musicals now? It's a tricky age

Re: Open casting for Fantastic Beasts Sequel
Yes Lola - send her pic! Nothing to lose!
Re: NYT
Yes that does seem very tough on exam age students. Best of luck to them both
Re: NYT
So glad to find this thread as was wondering when dd would hear.
Talya - are the shows evenings? So he may not need to miss school? What a shame if not - that will surely affect so many students.

I think they are very busy, get lots kids in things but maybe could do more to help kids prepare for musicals etc -...

Re: Annie in the West End!
Thanks for the replies. Daughter is 151 cm so that might be the reason.
Our agent charges a percentage of any fees received. The real cost is taking your child to castings etc so lots of train fares!

Re: Speech for National Youth Theatre audition
Hi how is everyone getting on with this? My Dd went this weekend and despite nerves had a good experience. She found the other actors who were mostly older, welcoming and the 'casting' adults positive. No idea if she will get through to the summer courses but she is glad she went.

Re: Pencilling
Hi think stand ins are very common ŵith young kids say under 6 and with any commercial filming overseas? You can understand why, and also why they don't say - as parent might not take them. It's a grim process commercials... With pencils I think there can be 3-4 for a role and client gets a choice f...

West End Kids
Hi
Does anyone have experience of West End Kids? Either the Saturday classes orthesummer intensive? I am wondering if it is worth my 10 year old trying for this or to keep her at her local club which she enjoys but she is now getting a little old for?

Re: Commercial conflict.
I would think your agent should have thought about this before putting you forward so might be worth asking them? They might be reassuring? Some contracts are very specific about you not taking part in ads that are in same territory or for same products - I've seen this on a supermarket ad contract ...
