Half term movies for the kids.....

Saw Gnomio and Juliet.
It was a bit strange in places eg. the gnome in a Borat style swimming costume and the shoehorned Elton John songs. But I have seen worse.
The kids enjoyed it.
Has anyone else seen any of the other films around for kids this half term? :)

I think Elton John and his partner (sorry forgotten his name) wrote Gnomio and Juliet, which will explain all the songs sounding like they do!

I was slightly disappointed by it. My children thought it was great but if you've seen the trailer, then you've already seen most of the funny bits. Still-kids will love it. I'm glad they explained the ending though-I didn't want my kids going home thinking that Romeo and Juliet lived 'Happily ever after!!'

We went to see Tangled today - that was quite sweet - I took two 7 year old boys and an 11 year old girl and they all enjoyed it - also it isn't too long and didn't put me to sleep ;)

our 21 year old Ds took our 8 year old DD to see tangled last week whilst DH and I went to see The Kings Speech (Ooo Colin Firth) DS said it was really good and they both chatted loudly about the funny bits all the way home, we didn't get a word in. DH said as we pulled in the drive - Well ours was good too!

Not seen it, but have it on good authority that Scooby Doo is a pile of pants. Avoid.

I meant Yogi Bear. Getting my cartoon characters mixed up.
