Re: small potatoes
DS and DD phoned in but just had a call asking my DS to go at the beginning of may. I just need to call them in New York to get more details! Typical I wasn't in when they called.
Re: small potatoes
Call them and ask them to call you back. They did that for me today. Auditions are on Sat or sun, call backs are Monday.
Re: small potatoes
Done, just waiting for email. This is the first time we have done anything like this. Maybe see some other NAPMs there and get some advice.
Re: small potatoes
Sounds like quite a lot of us will be going!

Re: small potatoes
Not yet. She asked for my email so I imagine they will be sent that way.
Re: small potatoes
Well done and good luck for Monday. Did you have to wait a long time from the time you called in to the time you heard of the audition ? I am just wandering how long this project has been going for. Dd rang yesterday ?
Re: small potatoes
No, she did phone call after school and heard the next day.
Re: small potatoes
hi, can i just ask if anyone has any details about this?

Re: small potatoes
They are saying 6-11. But the commitment is such that I would have thought it unlikely that a six year old would cope with it. It's once a fortnight for 3 hours, in London, from May to September. I will actually have to query that if she does go for an audition, as we're away for 2 weeks in July/August.
Oh yes, they must be good singers.

Re: small potatoes
DD had a go but the time I had left two phone numbers and she had said her name and age and sung one line it cut her off ... Should maybe take that as a sign!

Just wanted to add that when I spoke to them I asked specificaly if it was once a week or once a fortnight, and I'm afraid they said once a week. They would do a recording, then get the next script/song to learn for the following week.
Hope this helps
Take care

Re: small potatoes
That's weird because i also asked them specifically what bi weekly meant, and I've cut and pasted their reply.

Ok! Does bi weekly mean once a fortnight or twice a week?

once a fortnight.
Looks like they are not all singing from the same hymn sheet!

Re: small potatoes
hello igloobabe
did you receive the songs and an audition date? i was called 2 days ago and still havnt received the songs or a definite date yet, though they mentioned may 1 - 3 i am just concerned that my ds may not get long enough to learn the songs if the dont send them soon.
