I guess it will be difficult to cast a "young shrek" ! Do you think fiona will have to have red hair ?

If they are using the same costumes/wigs as the broadway production then all the children will be wearing wigs so hair colour doesnt matter.

Ha Ha, that just reminderd me, my daughter had to be painted green for a play she did recently and it washed off very easily straight after the performance with soap and water, unfortunately one night she was really tired and fell asleep in the car on the way home so I just put her to bed, green - it took an hour in the bath the next morning to get it off and she was left with a green pallor, people kept stopping us to ask if she was ok. needless to say I made sure she went to bed 'white' the next night! So who ever gets the part, don't forget to wash!

Is this a Jo Hawes casting?
Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, where the heck is the ceiling.

Auditions for young Fiona are on 25th October; height restriction is 4'6" & aged circa 8 years old. If you email Jo Hawes, she will send you details.

Youngest dd too old/tall for this role but under 16 so cannot be considered for teen Fiona......Gutted
