New production of Bugsy Malone to be staged at the Lyric Hammersmith
The Stage have announced that Bugsy Malone will run at the Lyric Hammersmith from 11th April 2015, marking the musical's first professional staging in the UK for more than a decade. The production also marks the reopening of the Lyric Hammersmith following redevelopment work.
This new production will be directed by the Lyric Hammersmith's artistic director Sean Holmes with choreography by Drew McOnie, design by Jon Bausor and musical direction by Phil Bateman.
Lighting design is by James Farncombe and sound design is by Ben Harrison with casting by Will Burton. The children’s casting director is Jessica Ronane. Bugsy Malone is by Paul Williams (music and lyrics) and Alan Parker (book).
