Boys Auditions for Singin' in the Rain this Sunday!

Mayhem are excited to announce additional auditions for our upcoming musical theatre classic, the spectacular Singin’ in the Rain. We are looking for three talented boys to join our strong adult cast: Two young boys (age range 10 – 12) to play young Don and young Cosmo and one older boy (Sixth Form age) to play a variety of parts including Male Diction Teacher, Policeman, Villain and Man on Screen.

Audition: Sunday 20 September from 6.30 till 8.30pm at The Annexe, 78 Victory Road, South Wimbledon, London, SW19 1HN

The Show: Singin’ in the Rain tells the story of the first Hollywood musical, when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies – and some of its stars – behind. This much loved show is packed full of the charm, romance, comedy and tinseltown glamour of one of the world’s best loved movies. It features all the songs from the glorious MGM score including Good Morning, Make ‘em Laugh, Moses Supposes and the classic Singin’ in the Rain. With high-energy choreography and a beautiful score, Singin’ in the Rain showers you with everything you could wish for in a hit musical.

Rehearsals: Monday and Thursday evenings as well as Sunday afternoons in South Wimbledon and Morden

Membership: Auditions for Mayhem Musical Theatre Company are open to everyone and we do not charge an audition fee. If cast in the production, however, you will be required to become a member of the group to perform in the show. Membership for concessions is £25 per year plus a show fee to cover the cost of rehearsal venues and insurance. As this is a large scale production we will be asking all cast members to sell a minimum of 5 full price tickets each.

I have worked with Mayhem before on the UK premiere of The Addams Family. josmum's dd worked with me as well. For an amateur company, they have high production values and attract top rate talent.
