SHOWREEL WORKSHOP -SATURDAY MARCH 8-£150

Post by termdriven »

We are holding a Showreel Workshop on Saturday March 8, 2014 10.00am - 5pm.
Open from age 7 - Adult
Held near Orpington station (zone 6 of SE London)

What does this mean?
With a group of minimum 4 and maximum 10 the costs for a showreel are dramatically reduced to £150 for the day.
We give you 4 dynamic scripts to pick 3 from these. You must learn these before the day and bring along suitable costumes(mostly ordinary daywear)
The scripts are chosen according to who attends.
We have some period and odd costumes if needed. You act these scripts with the other participants
and end up with a maximum 3 minute showreel. We direct and film you. Extra clips can be added at a cost of £20 per clip to a maximum of 5 minute showreel.
A 5 minute showreel is Spotlight maximum, though through research we have found Casting Directors are most likely to view the first 2/3 minutes with most attention.

See examples on http://www.luminofilms.co.uk/showreels
You can book online or call 07513011221 for further information and details of how to send a cheque.

my dd did an 'acting for film and tv' workshop with them last year. They were very helpful and gave lots of tips, especially in the parents Q&A at the end. They also filmed them doing a pre-prepared monologue and some script work which they sent onto us with an honest 'report' of dds strengths and weaknesses. We were very pleased with all 3 aspects, the actual workshop, the show reel and the report.
