Dance Moms

Post by eleanorrigby66 »

Bit random, but I was just wondering if anybody watches this? I have recently become addicted!! The girls are such fantastic dancers - it's such a shame their confidence is continually knocked by the high-pressure high-stress environment.

It is trash but I can't help but be totally invested! I've even gone back to watch from the start and cried when Chloe got the featured role in the music video.... #-o She deserved a little lift though.

bruno2, it is on the Lifetime Channel.

I think Maddie is a great dancer but the fact that she's Abby's favourite means that she gets a lot of hate from people, so not only does the favouritism annoy me because its unfair to the other girls, but it annoys me because its harming the favourite.

But she was the image of the 'grown up' artist, wasn't she? An object lesson in the things CDs have to consider that we chat about so often here.

I too am absolutely addicted to this programme :)

It was the top twenty OMG moments last night. Not sure I could cope with all the screaming and stress (and thats just the mums!! ). Think the new series might start tonight :D

I love to watch Maddie dance, she has a beautiful face that shows so much emotion, but maybe because I watch a lot of ballet, I'm slightly distracted by her proportionally short arms.

It was no surprise to me when it was Chloe who was picked for The Joffrey Ballet Intensive scholarship. Her proportions are much more a classical dancer.

Car crash telly at its best!!

They miss it a lot because of dance because Abby says that dance always comes first but then Abby complains about them not being smart enough!

I've heard of it but not watched. Toddlers & Tiaras is so funny! The money and pressure the mums spend on these pagents for the little girls to go out on stage and throw a strop! Great viewing!

Just had to refresh this thread coz DH and I just had a debate over why I find this compulsive viewing! He is staggered it survived more than 1 series.
