Hi
Anyone elses children love Irish dancing?
If so - let's connect
and a question, my DS is also a ballet dancer and finds that this is really helpful with turnout and point, are there any others here that are learning both disciplines?
hope to hear from like-minded Mums

Re: any Irish dancers?
My Dd did Irish alongside ballet/modern/jazz/tap for about 10 years (she started Irish later). She liked doing different styles of dance and liked the discipline of Irish. Obviously she enjoyed hard shoe as well as soft (she had already done 5 years of tap before starting Irish), loved how a class of them sounded Now she is studying MT she has had do other types of dance as well (though no Irish!!).
I also did some Irish classes many moons ago - it was a good group way of keeping fit for an adult if you like dancing anyway.
