Re: UK Dance competitions
do you have to pay to register for all of them? mum thinks they are trying to rip you off by asking for registration fee? xx
Re: UK Dance competitions
My DD has taken part in IDTA competitions. The registration fee is £10 for both competitors and entrance. You will also have had to have taken an IDTA exam in the past 12 months to take part.

Also check out UDO

Free to join UDO and I believe a reasonable entrance fee.
Enjoy!

Re: UK Dance competitions
How far are you from Farnborough (north Hampshire)? There's a dance festival on next week that it might be worth getting along to to see the standard and types of dance in festivals. Here's the link to their website and you'll find the programme on there:

Re: UK Dance competitions
Have a look at All England Dance festivals, dates and contact details are all here http://www.all-england-dance.org.uk/ass ... TIVALS.pdf . There is a charge to enter a qualifying heat of £3-5ish per solo or about £1million for the amount of dances dd enters! The regional finals are more and we've never got to the final but I presume more still.
