Oh that's interesting 2dancersmum, there's so many things to be considered!
Katymac i've given the thumbs up 'like' button, i wouldn't have known where to start fitting everything together so cleverly. She does have amazing hair I can imagine it does take getting used to when dancing.
DD's new showreel or is it a dancereel?

If you want to have a go with a more sophisticated editing tool, Adobe offer a months free trial of their toolkit, including Premier Pro. Might be fun to see what you could do?

I had a look at that but it would cost a lot to have it for more than the trial
I think I could afford a one off cost using my birthday money but not an annual subscription
But thanks for the suggestion

I don't think you need a course - I think you are doing great. I don't know what type of phone you have (or your DD) but DD and her friends all use an App to film and edit their showreels aswell as Windows Movie Maker. They need both apparently depending on the source of the footage. Most of her friends have I=phones - DD does not but hers does still get Apps.

I am aafter a package as I want to blur faces and zoom in a bit on the finished video rather than when filming
But I use my ordinary camera (mostly), rather than my phone & Movie Maker
