Monologues for teenage boys.

Post by mogs »

Hi. Can anybody recommend a good monologue for a teenage boy (15), please? It's very open, which is what we are finding difficult. I can find monologues but as we have never done anything like this before, I don't really know where to begin in deciding if they are good/suitable or not. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you :?

What is it for?

How about Alan Strang from Equus by Peter Shaffer?
Edmund's 'Thou nature art my goddess' speech from King Lear
DNA by Dennis Kelly (Richard's monologue)
