Birmingham Foundation Course in Musical Theatre

Post by sotebirmingham »

If anyone is looking for a Foundation Course for their DC then we would like to introduce you to the SOTE Foundation Course in Dance & Musical Theatre.

We have been running the School of Theatre Excellence in Birmingham since 2010 and many of our student’s have gone on to train at leading London Colleges.

We are passionate about Performing Arts in the Midlands and want to build the training and opportunities available in our area, so this year we are launching our Foundation Course. The course is designed to train Students aged 18+ in all three disciplines of Acting, Singing & Dancing, to develop the core basic training in Musical Theatre performance, and to give them the training to facilitate their entry into leading West End Performing Arts Colleges.

The 30 week course is designed to further equip people who show potential in the performing arts but require more training in order to be accepted on a Three Year Musical Theatre Course at a London college. It may be that you have completed A Levels or a BTEC Course and feel that you need additional training in Acting or Singing or have only recently discovered a passion for dance. A Foundation course will help you to develop their full potential and achieve your dreams of going to Drama School.

We are going to be offering the same standard of training as Foundation Courses in London but at a fraction of the price. We really believe that there should be a vocational course like this in our city and would love your help in introducing the course to new students.

The Foundation Course website is http://www.sote.co.uk and we are running a FREE Audition day during the Easter holidays on Tuesday April 5th. If you are unable to make this date or would prefer to audition prior to this we can also offer a Sunday audition.

There are lots of videos of our training both on our Facebook http://www.facebook.com/SOTEBirmingham or our school website http://www.sotebirmingham.co.uk

If you require any information then please feel free to email us info@sote.co.uk

Thanks
