Still looking at training options for Oct 2017?

Post by theMTAonline »

Hi all - I hope that you're not all getting too stressed out but the audition season. If you are still looking at training options thought please check out http://www.theMTA.co.uk We always start our audition season later than the rest.
Besides being the only college to have been awarded The Stage School of the Year twice, training #theMTAway offers your child amazing opportunities whilst training. Our graduating year have just finished 28 private agent auditions (not panel days). Resulting in 80% of them currently in meetings to discuss representation. That's 5 months, 1 musical and 2 showcases away from graduating. Agencies including Cole Kitchenn, Global Artists, Grantham and Hazeldine to name just a few.
As well as our productions the students have regularly been on the Last Leg this series, and are about to perform in a major West End charity concert.
We're the only MT college to do a 50/50 stage/screen split. Our latest Patrons Amanda Abbington and Sue Vincent are on board to support the TV side.
We do a whole day audition with written feedback and the decision on the day.
To date every student (since our first lot left in 2011) has graduated having secured agent representation. 82% of all of our grads are still in the business. In the citation for the 2017 award it was acknowledged that our graduates were now regularly seen in major productions, and it also cited how we had become a significant voice for the training sector due to our innovative programme.
We have a live Q&A on our FB page (http://www.facebook.com/themtaonline) at 7pm on May 3rd if you'd like to find out more.
Full details including information on every graduate, on our website.
