ANNOUNCING THE GENERAL AMERICAN ACCENT WORKSHOP!

A growing number of US films and TV series are being filmed in Europe. The NatGeo series ‘Einstein’ alone needed 150 UK-based actors with near-perfect American accents for their shoot in Prague.
Never miss out again on the chance to audition with confidence for an American character - whether TV, film or stage.
DATE: Saturday, 1 July, 2-4pm: a two-hour workshop in Harrogate that gives actors the skills to handle any script requiring General American.
* Learn signature sounds, rhythm, stress, intonation
* Practice from actual scripts, songs, monologues
* Free workbook for refreshers down the line.
Workshops are taught by Bryan Bounds, professional US actor, voiceover artist, teacher, writer, director and producer, starring in ‘Einstein’ episode 9.

OTHER SUMMER WORKSHOPS INCLUDE:
Saturday, 29 July: 10am-2pm, Audition Masterclass
Saturday, 26 Aug: 2-4pm, Method Acting Workshop
Saturday, 2 Sep: 2-4pm, General American Accent
American School of Acting in Harrogate provides industry skills in small classes in Method and Meisner techniques to passionate and motivated 11-18 year olds who want to advance further into the craft of acting.
