Hello fellow NAPMs,
DS will be leaving home to study for his BTEC at Emil Dale in September, and will by then have gained his Grade 6 LAMDA we hope.
Does anyone know whether he can continue LAMDA in Hitchin (not necessarily at EDA), or have experience of doing so alongside a full on BTEC course? Is it realistic/advisable etc? What about continuing piano tuition?
Nothing like NAPM advice - we've called on it many times. Thank you once again xxx

Re: LAMDA grades after leaving home
From what I saw on my daughter's audition day he won't have time or maybe won't even want to.
I personally wouldn't carry on with LAMDA ,it's all a new adventure and an extra expense, the piano I would try to continue if at all possible.

No need to spend money on LAMDA exams when taking acting lessons at EDA.
My DS went up to silver medal level and basically apart from some valuable tuition time, it’s counted for nothing but expense.
Piano? hopefully but time wise he might struggle, DS was hoping to continue Irish dance but he doesn’t have time to feed himself properly let alone find an Irish dance school locally.
