No worries. It is such an emotional process from auditioning onwards.
I too have had comments about my daughter's choice too,at times she has felt embarrassed about saying where she is going.
I have had people say to me they thought it's the wrong place for her,one did apologise and after researching it more said it's perfect.
Thank goodness there is somewhere for everyone it's just finding it!

My DD turned down what are known as 'top colleges' to go to Bodyworks and the comments we had, privately and quite publicly would make your hair curl - why was she turning down a top college to go to a lesser one / less reputation / less success / less names in programmes ??

Because she felt it - as soon as she walked through the door she felt it
She didnt know what it was but she knew within seconds that this was the college for her.
But we got those comments and I think that is why I jumped at you - I apologise once again but the top colleges arent right for some people and the 'lesser ones' are just perfect for others as you rightly explained.

My DD is starting today as head girl at BW so her decision was right and so are you with your explanation
I'm sorry I came across as so rude
Wow well done to your dd on being head girl...I certainly do not think Bodyworks is one of the lesser colleges at all.. It is right up there with the top places...in fact as a smaller college, they are not one of a number, but indvidual. My dd loved it there x

Neither do I jasmine2 - they go for quality, not quantity !
No way am I saying BW is a lesser college but others did and still continue to do so
But they are entitled to their opinion while I sit and smile smugly - knowing what I know !

I think there will always be a bit of 'competition' of which school is best and who goes where but as you say each school is right for that child and at the end of it they all have to audition exactly the same x
