Yes, Urdang I believe is also £100 and Masters asks for £275! I wish they would be more transparent and explain what costs parents should expect outside of the audition fee.islandofsodor wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 9:40 amThe fee for one conservatoire my dd applied to was £100!anastasia79 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 7:18 pmBrilliant! They’re also one of the few schools that also didn’t ask for an audition fee this year. I just don’t get why they do this. They’re already charging exorbitant fees. The only thing I can think is that they see dance parents as cash cowsicantdance wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 11:15 am DS had an offer from Italia Conti and he was asked for £275. He's not going there - but still .....

Re: Bird Reserve List
I think it is another way to make money, very unfair when it’s such an expensive process anyway and rules out poorer families who just can’t justify the expense of open days/auditions/recalls/acceptance fees!

The £100 was just the audition fee, for simply viewing a video. (plus the normal UCAS fee)

Any idea how long Bird are taking to get back to people and if they are still offering places or just reserve list?

Re: Bird Reserve List
From what I understand they are still doing offers and also reserves. Their last audition is the 17th May and they usually get back to people within 3 or so weeks after. Based on that the reserve list won’t start moving until about the 3rd week of June.Dancemumalways wrote: ↑Wed Mar 31, 2021 7:49 pm Any idea how long Bird are taking to get back to people and if they are still offering places or just reserve list?
