Anyone know Irish qualification required for BTEC Level 3 courses?

My daughter is 17, in TY in Irish school (in Cork) but would love to do dance for next 2 years rather than Leaving Cert.

Does anybody know what Irish qualifications are required for the BTEC Level 3 courses? Will she need Leaving Cert (which is 2 years away)

Can anyone point us in direction of full time dance options that could be available to her without GCSEs or Leaving Cert?

We know several Irish teenagers in UK dance schools, but they either started earlier at 15, or later post Leaving Cert.

I'd have thought the Junior Certificate was the closest equivalent qualification to GCSE's.

I thought so too, but can’t fine anything online to support this.

I know a girl who did a BTECH in Liverpool and she definitely only had her Junior Cert . You can also apply for Trinity level 6 diploma with Junior cert but not degrees.
