child/adult agency question

Post by Brighterthanstars »

I'm turning 18 very soon and am thinking about the kind of representation I want as I essentially go from child actor to adult actor. I know that I want to go for more grown up work, with an agency that is focused on progression of a few actors, and I've found an agency that seems to have this with both experienced and rising actors, however most of the are at least in their twenties. Do you think there's any harm in just sending my CV/headshots and just seeing what happens? I've built up some good credits over the last year or so and the agency seems more interested in the actor rather than ticking boxes. (i.e they have a range of ages/looks, but don't take on many and work with actors closely)
Thank you for you answers in advance they're always very helpful :)
If you think that you're too small to make an impact, try sleeping with a mosquito in the room.
