My dd is wanting to start making a carrer of her acting, but I am very new to this, and I understand that you need to have an agent if you are wanting to get serious. She is 14 years old, a versatile actress and has lots of hobbies, but the question is, what agents would you all recomend? Ideally she would be intrested in film/tv, and professional work. We would be looking for a good agency with a good reputation. What steps do I need to take?

Take a look under the heading Agencies and take it from there. Can't recommend as what is good for one child may not be good for another. You could apply to the more well known ones but many won't have their books open until later in the year - Top Talent, A&J Management, RK Assocs, Madfish Management - the list goes on. Good luck
