YMT - Help! Get me out of this musical!

Post by daisyjane » Mon Aug 13, 2018 7:43 am

DD completed her final show in YMT's production yesterday and WOW! This is her second season with YMT and I have to say I am so impressed - not only with the outstanding talent of the kids but also the creative force behind the show. This was an original piece of theatre and the kids were given space to contribute to the dialogue, dance and ideas - it has developed them all round as performers and theatre makers. She has loved working with Luke Sheppard and his team and she would say this has been as formative an experience for her as her 2 WE shows.

Meant to answer this ages ago ! Dd has loved both of the YMT productions she has done - you are so right about how valuable the experience is. She did not the end of the world in Plymouth and Busted in Brighton. Fantastic talent and creative teams in both. So glad she has had those opportunities.

BTW O has just shown me some pictures of the lovely G in this one - it looks amazing !
