Wonderful news straight from the hospital today: they have managed to sort the AVM so that it should not cause further problem. My nephew will not have to undergo any more ops for the foreseeable future. A few years back the news was very bleak for him: it just goes to show you must never give up and miracles can happen. Thank you to everybody who prayed for him and/or sent good wishes. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Please send my good wishes - although I don't know you or him, you have been in my thoughts.

Just an update for all those who followed what happened to my nephew. He originally had a 3% chance of surviving his brain AVM, he is doing so well it is nothing short of a miracle. He is enjoying life, a bit different from what he thought he would be doing in his twenties, but he is an inspiration to all those who have suffered a catastrophic medical episode in their lives. He has his sense of humour and now uses his story to inspire others. \:D/ \:D/
