Hello! I was wondering whether any of you have experience of the music strand at The Brit School. I have read lots of helpful posts, but so far all related to music theatre or drama. My DS wants to apply this year to start in Y10 in 2014. He is a very dedicated guitarists and it seems like it would be a great environment for him. We live literally about half a mile or less outside of the official catchment area. Does anyone know any students doing music at The Brit School, or know about the audition process? The new prospectus should come out soon!

I was just wondering how you got on... My son has applied for music this year. (2016) The interview was a bit odd, mostly about his schoolwork and hardly about music... I'm wondering if that was a bad sign!
And when did you hear - the auditions were last thursday and friday and I was wondering if they really do only tell you at the end of March.... feeling so anxious. xxx
