School Permission/Licence Problem

Post by gingerbam »

Oh joy, spoke to my Dds head over the school holiday re Licence and authorised absences and she was positive and no sign of any issues. Get my form back today with 0 authorised absence. Evidently the new rules about authorised absences are being taken to the letter. I telephoned the Licence lady who said she would get her manager to speak to my school so I can have some days authorised . All this for a beginner. :( I'm not happy. I have NEVER had any attendance issues with children and have NEVER taken them out of school for holidays abroad. In fact they mostly get 100%, the school is blaming the County Council, the council the school. Arggggghhh

Life is complex - some of it is real, some of it is imaginary.
