GSCE play for all boys?

Post by waitingandwaiting »

Does anyone have recommendations for good GCSE material for all boys? Just saw my ds perform Lord of Flies for a mock assessment. They did Neville's Island last time. I know they will have guidance from their teacher but they did get to make the final decision. If he can read some of them before they choose, that would be helpful.

Any suggestions would be very helpful, please.

Thank you!

I was going to say History Boys. There is also a play version of Lord of the Flies which is good.

Brilliant - thank you. They did Lord of the Flies last night so something new. I had thought of History Boys so think I will buy that for him to read. Also, thank you for Bouncers recommendation. Will get that as well. A bit of reading over the Xmas hols. Thank you all!
