Hi everyone,
I am currently pencilled for a commercial filming next Wednesday and Thursday. when would I likely hear back whether I have definitely got it or not?
Surely it must be soon as they would need to do a costume fitting etc? Or should I assume I haven't got it because filming is so soon?
When am I likely to hear back about being pencilled?

We heard at 7:30 on Friday evening that DD was filming on Monday afternoon. So it's not too late, don't give up yet!

How on earth do you get the child license sorted that quickly?!francescasmum wrote:We heard at 7:30 on Friday evening that DD was filming on Monday afternoon. So it's not too late, don't give up yet!

It's usually set in motion when you get pencilled, just because you get the licence doesn't mean you get the job! Sometimes they ask the last few children in the running to apply for licences and sometimes the one who gets it sorted first is the one that gets t he job!
Not forgetting that every council seems to have different interpretations of the rules, some give open licences, some just require a phone call, some only want licences if they are taking time off school etc etc....

I'm over licensing age (18) - does that mean it is all likely to be even more last minute!?
